Park Ranger Capacity Building Needs – Protected Area Conversation in English
In this Protected Area Conversation we will focus on discussing some of the key capacity building needs for rangers. This session will be primarily carried out in breakout groups with report back to plenary at the end of the session. We are looking to collect ideas for what technical topics and types of capacity building can best support rangers today. Information collected will be share with key institutions providing support to rangers and will help inform a new ranger training program being developed by CSU’s Center for Protected Area Management. This session will be 1 hour in length.
